If There Is One Food That Could Sustain Humanity, Shouldn’t We All Know It?
I live in South Africa, a country at the bottom tip of Africa. A popular favourite activity is game-watching in one of our magnificent national parks.
If you, like me, love being out in the wild, or even watching nature doccies, here’s some questions to ponder:
Have you ever noticed how strong, healthy and thriving the animals are? How similar they look to each other in terms of weight and size? That there’s no medical centre or hospital near every watering hole, no pharmacies dispensing drugs behind every couple of trees?
What about humans?
Walk through a shopping mall, or take a look at your family, friends or colleagues. Chances are, many of them are overweight. Most will have one health condition or another. And if they’re over 40, they’re likely already on one or more chronic meds.
Why are we not asking ourselves what is wrong with this picture? Or if we are, why are we not drawing the right conclusions?
Modern, western humans in general - excuse my bluntness - are fat and sick! Or if not, we’re on a strict treadmill of trying to keep slim and healthy. It’s a constant battle. We’re bombarded by the latest diet or exercise fad. This year, fat is good for you. Last year, it was bad. Now, carbs are out. Then, they’re in. Maybe it’s no wonder that our health is in the state it’s in. So much conflicting information; so many promises of how to achieve the ‘ultimate body’.
Through 12 years of schooling, I was never taught the basis of good health. I am guessing it’s pretty much the same today. Add to that, the people to whom we trust our health - doctors and Big Pharma - never, ever talk about what animals know instinctively - eat what you’re meant to eat. For some reason, this has escaped our human consciousness.
If we look at the animal kingdom, thriving health doesn’t seem difficult. There’s no Dr. Lion or Zebra lecturing the other animals on how to be healthy. There’s no elite class in white coats, who know the answers while the rest of the animals don’t. There are no dieticians telling animals what they should or shouldn’t be eating. Why is it not the same for humans?
May I suggest that in the interests of profits for Big Pharma, this knowledge has been purposefully kept from us? A big clue is the entire medical industry. It’s obvious when you look at it, isn’t it, that the basis of good health is what you feed a body. I mean, you wouldn’t feed meat to a cow, or carrots to your cat. So surely this should be the basis of all training in any medical field? But - it’s not. (For an in-depth look at how this has purposefully been suppressed to maximise Big Pharma profits, see the work of Gary Null; here’s his video Death By Medicine.)
We place our health in the hands of in an industry that by the very titles of their graduates, tell us they have little to do with health. MEDICAL doctor - that is, a doctor of medicine. Not a doctor of wellness, or illness prevention. Doctors study (primarily), pharmaceutical drugs and their effect on the various organs and tissues of the human body. Yes, there’s a place for that. But pharmaceuticals should be a last resort. Our bodily health should first be our own responsibility. And of course, it’s based on what we put in our bodies.
So is it possible, as with so many things we are discovering, that we’ve been deceived about health and diet too?
What if eating the correct food would eliminate 95% of disease as we know it?
What if 99% of our chronic diseases, are due to eating incorrectly?
And what would the medical industry look like, if humans ate this way? Pretty different from what it does, for sure!
The burning question of course, is: how do we know what the ‘right’ diet is for a human? There are so many diet ideas floating around, each claiming to be The One. And who am I to say what’s right and wrong? Is it just my opinion? Or do we have very obvious clues, as do all the other animal species, what’s right for us?
And then, let’s play a worse-case-scenario.
If there was just one type of food that would sustain human beings in excellent health, through any food shortages and crises that look like they’re looming, shouldn’t we all know of it?
What would the world look like if we could focus all our energies on this one food - on growing and distributing it to every human on the planet?
As with all other animals, all we have to do is look at our ‘body template’ as I call it. What is our ‘template’ telling us about they type of food we should be ingesting, digesting and utilising?
And now, because we’ve forgotten how and what to eat, isn’t a good way to rediscovering what this is, to look at what animals with the same ‘template’ are eating?
There are only 4 categories of diet amongst mammals on the planet. All we have to do is establish which one of the categories we fit in, and follow that diet. Makes sense, right?
Here are the categories, in order of lowest-to-highest conscious awareness and problem-solving abilities, and what defines them:
Carnivores. Incisor teeth in front, large canine teeth for ripping; jaws unidirectional. Hair-covered bodies, clawed limbs, smooth and short small intestine (because meat putrefies quickly), rough tongues, no salivary glands. Sweat glands in foot pads only. Simple stomach, strong digestive juices. Large liver, heavy bile flow for gastric juices. Smooth, non-sacculated colon with minimal ability for absorption. GI tract 3x length of the spine. Walk on all 4’s. Diet: raw meat, bones, organs and intestines, grass and herbs. Sleep for 20+ hours a day. Cats, wolves, polar bears.
Omnivores. Tusk-like canine teeth, multi-directional jaws. Smooth, oily skins with hair. Minimal sweat glands (snout or foot pads). Underachieve salivary glands. Slightly sacculated small intestines; large and complex livers. Shortish colons with minimal absorption. GI tract 10x length of spine. Hooves, claws and paws. Walk on all 4’s. Diet: some meat, insects and eggs, vegetables, fruits, roots, barks. Foxes, squirrels, hogs, bears and dogs.
Herbivores. Large, grinding teeth, cutting teeth in front of jaws. Multi-motional jaws (up and down, side to side and forward & back to create grinding effect), moderately rough tongues, salivary glands. Hooves or large, padded feet (elephants), walk on all 4’s; pores with extensive hair covering entire body, sweat glands. Long and sacculated small intestines and colon. GI tract 30x length of spine. Complex stomachs with 4 or more pouches and weak stomach acid. Spend large portions of the day eating. Diet: grass, leaves, plants, roots, some barks. Horses, cows, buck, elephants.
Frugivores. No long canine or tusk-type teeth; multi-motional jaws. Salivary glands. Oblong stomachs with 2 compartments; sacculated small intestines for extensive absorption. Simple and average size liver, not large and complex like carnivores. Sacculated colon. GI tract 12x length of spine. Hands for picking, peeling and tearing. Walks upright. Skin with pores and minimal hair, and sweat glands. Diet: fruits, nuts, seeds, sweet vegetables and herbs. Primates and HUMANS.
There we have it. Humans quite obviously fit into the ‘frugivore’ category - i.e., fruit-eating species.
The one food that could sustain humanity on its own, without the need for any other food, is fruit.
Oh, and here are some more (perhaps simplistic, but interesting) clues.
If I offer my cat a cute, fluffy little bunny, she’s going to play with it, hunt it and then eat it, and its not going to be pretty.
If I give the same bunny to a 3-year old, she’s likely to love it to death. There’s no way she’d have the desire to rip its head off and eat it raw.
Or, lay a table out of raw vegetables, and next to it, raw fruit, and next to that, raw meat. Let a bunch of hungry kindergarten children loose on the tables, and see what gets eaten and what gets left.
Which points to another interesting idea. Humans are the only species on earth that cook their food. Sure, it’s enabled us to inhabit corners of the planet that we wouldn’t otherwise have been able to. But if you look at food in terms of energy, cooking destroys most of that energy. And chemically, transforms it into something quite unrecognisable by the human body. Ah, but cooking makes (the wrong) food taste so good! Yes; energetically, it also depletes us and ruins our digestive systems. Zoo-keepers learned many years ago never to feed cooked food to any animal, as they get sick and die.
Is it any wonder we’re so fat and sick?
If you want to rocket your health into the stratosphere, eat fruit. And if you want smart, focused and calm kids - pack that lunchbox full of fruit. Forget about the concept of the food pyramid and a ‘balanced’ diet. We are not omnivores! Teach your children about the magic of fruit. It’s no wonder our kids are ‘picky eaters’, when we’ve forced them to eat things not suited to the human body! Fruit is the highest vibrationally energetic food on the planet, for the most conscious species on the planet. And share this article with your meat-eating or lettuce-munching friends and family :-) We are not carnivores, or herbivores either!
Here’s to your good health.
